Ms Sanyang is a qualified Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of The Gambia. In 2017, Ms Sanyang graduated from the University of Bristol, England with an LLB Honours degree. She proceeded to undertake the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at BPP University in Bristol. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2018 and shortly thereafter to The Gambia Bar.
Ms Sanyang completed pupillage in 2019 and became an Associate at Amie Bensouda & Co LP in January of 2020 and was later promoted to an Associate. She has successfully won and settled civil cases for a wide range of clients. Ms Sanyang has experience in all stages of disputes, including pre-litigation, on interim applications, at trial and posts judgment enforcement. She specialises in Employment, Commercial, Insolvency, Communications and Probate & Trusts.
Ms Sanyang is an ADR – ODR International Accredited Civil Commercial Mediator and an active member of the Gambia Bar Association and the Female Lawyers Association of The Gambia (FLAG).
She served as part of the legal team assigned to the National Commission of Inquiry investigating the financial activities of the former executive government.
